該雜志在實(shí)驗(yàn)和臨床醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域發(fā)表原創(chuàng)和評(píng)論論文。它涵蓋流行病學(xué)、診斷、治療和預(yù)防人類(lèi)疾病以及醫(yī)學(xué)歷史論文。這是匈牙利最古老的、仍在印刷中的出版物，也是匈牙利唯一的每周出版的科學(xué)雜志。該雜志的戰(zhàn)略是根據(jù)拉霍斯·馬庫(kù)索夫斯基基金會(huì)和國(guó)家和國(guó)際編輯委員會(huì)的策展所制定的。這本有著150年歷史的雜志是匈牙利文化遺產(chǎn)的一部分。

The journal publishes original and review papers in the fields of experimental and clinical medicine. It covers epidemiology, diagnostics, therapy and the prevention of human diseases as well as papers of medical history. This is the oldest, still in-print Hungarian publication and also the one-and-only weekly published scientific journal in Hungary. The strategy of the journal is based on the Curatorium of the Lajos Markusovszky Foundation and on the National and International Editorial Board. The 150 year-old journal is part of the Hungarian Cultural Heritage.
